There was originally 3 (or more) Wadleigh homes built on the original Wadleigh land. I believe that this was the house built by Joseph Wadleigh, probably between 1800 and 1820. John Wadleigh and his sons lived there until it was abandoned during the 1870's. This photo was taken in 1905.
